Taliun – Terms of Service

Welcome to Taliun! We're excited to work together. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) help clarify what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you while using our platform and services.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Taliun’s services—including our website, software, APIs, and any related tools—you’re agreeing to these Terms. If you're working with us under a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA), that agreement will guide our relationship instead (see Section 2 below).

2. Clients with MSAs

If you’re a Taliun customer who has signed an MSA with us, please note that your MSA takes precedence over these Terms where applicable. These Terms will still apply to anything not covered or superseded by your MSA.

3. Who Can Use Taliun

To use our platform, you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into agreements. Your account is just for you (or your organization), and you're responsible for how it’s used.

4. How You Can Use Taliun

We grant you a limited license to use our services for your internal business needs. Please don’t misuse the platform—for example, by trying to reverse engineer it or use it for anything unlawful or harmful.

5. Your Data & Privacy

Your Ownership: You always retain ownership of the data you bring into Taliun.

How We Use It: With your permission, we use your data to deliver and improve the services we provide. We may analyze data in aggregate and anonymized form to gain insights and enhance the platform.

Security: We take security seriously and use best practices to protect your information.

6. Intellectual Property

Taliun’s tools, brand, and underlying technology remain the property of Taliun. Your use of the platform doesn’t give you ownership of our IP.

7. Using the Platform Responsibly

We ask that you use Taliun in a way that respects our technology, other users, and the law. Please avoid anything that might interfere with others’ use, or compromise data, systems, or intellectual property.

8. Integrations with Other Tools

You may choose to connect Taliun with other software or services. When you do, we’ll only share necessary data as required to make those connections work. The terms of use for those third-party services will still apply.

9. Billing & Payments

For paid services, you agree to the current fees and billing terms when you sign up. Payments are securely processed. Unless otherwise stated, we generally do not offer refunds after payment, except as required by law or detailed in your MSA.

10. Updates to the Platform and Terms

As our platform evolves, we may make updates or improvements, and occasionally revise these Terms. If we make any significant changes, we’ll let you know in advance. Continued use of the platform means you’re okay with the updated Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

While we aim to deliver a reliable, high-quality experience, the platform is provided “as is.” Taliun is not liable for indirect damages, and any direct liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us over the previous six months.

12. Indemnity

If your use of Taliun causes legal issues for others or for us (for example, violating another party’s rights or applicable laws), you agree to help cover any resulting costs or claims.

13. Ending Your Use of Taliun

You’re free to stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. We’ll always try to provide advance notice where possible.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. In most cases, we hope to resolve issues informally, but if needed, disputes will be handled in the courts of Santa Clara County, unless your MSA specifies something different.

15. Sharing Feedback

We appreciate your ideas and feedback! If you share suggestions with us, you agree that we can use them to improve Taliun without obligation.
